Your ability to get the goodies in life depends on your ability to engage and enroll others. Think about it! Consultants and service professionals need clients. Inventors need investors. Engineers need adopters. Salespeople need buyers. Leaders need followers.
It’s so obvious! Life is an enrollment game: The world is shaped by those who can engage, persuade, and enroll others.

By nature, I was shy and cerebral. I couldn't look people in the eye while speaking. Small-talk terrified me. I stuttered and bored people. Today, I joke that when the kids in the neighborhood played doctor, they made me the anesthesiologist.
I lacked confidence, self-esteem, and the ability to influence others. Even though as a financial analyst, software engineer, management consultant, and executive I helped other companies make millions, I failed to generate sufficient revenue in my own businesses. Even though I studied psychology, influence, and leadership most of my life, I really wasn’t very persuasive.
WOW, my life is different today.
Enrolling others is easier than you think.
The big secret is ... 60 to 70% of communications is nonverbal, and how others respond to you depends on the signals you send. Your movements, posture, eye contact, vocal expressiveness, clothing, etc. either enhance or undermine you. I call this NONVERBAL LEADERSHIP.
Beliefs Matter. If you are nervous, doubtful, or self-conscious, those feelings and thoughts sabotage you. Your mindsets, attitudes, and beliefs make or break your ability to influence. You need to find your personal barriers and instill empowering beliefs. (It’s much easier than you think.)
What about Words? Yes, the right words have power, but you can read dozens of books on sales, persuasion, and rhetoric, take months of training, or even earn an MBA (like me) and yet nothing really changes. Why? Your success depends on the alignment of your words with your signals and beliefs. The right words are the payload on a rocket. No rocket, no launch, no payday. The fact is: the right words flow naturally when you are in alignment.

After racking my brains for years trying to create a unified theory of psychology, I had an epiphany. (OK, I’m a slow learner; my breakthrough didn’t happen until I reached 53!) Within three weeks, a total stranger contacted me and insisted on being my client. Within 6 months, several people approached me and asked, “Are you someone important?” Since my epiphany, I have at least tripled my personal power, and it keeps growing.
I found patterns of human behaviors that span culture, politics, therapy, sales, advertizing, hypnosis, economics, performing arts, neuroscience, leadership, families, etc. I realized there are unconscious, genetic drivers and signals that govern human cooperation and conflict.
